Wellbeing support

We are able to signpost to a range of outside agencies to support children and the wider family with wellbeing support. Please see the links below or speak to Mrs Nicola Ingham, our Inclusion lead for further support.

A service dedicated to providing children’s and young people’s health services to the community. A wealth of guidance to help you on your parenting journey.

Early help is about giving information, advice and guidance to families before worries grow into bigger issues. Help is available to families with a child or young person up to

18-years-old (25 for young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities). They can also help with the worries adults may have, such as finances or mental health, which may impact on the children.

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS have developed a range of online workshops covering a range of topics as part of the ‘Parent Workshop Programme and Childhood Neurodiversity Parent Workshop Programme’. These cover a range of topics from ‘Supporting People with Low

Mood’ to ‘Supporting Children with Big Emotions’ to ‘Understanding and Supporting with Sleep Difficulties’. Please visit their website via the link above, to view their list of latest workshops.

The Early Childhood and Family Service (ECFS), funded by Norfolk County Council and delivered in partnership with Action for Children, provides comprehensive support for families with young children aged 0-5 years. Services support parents and carers with child development, parenting skills, and family wellbeing.

Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) are an early intervention service across Norfolk and Waveney, and are working with Hethersett Woodside. They can offer support to children and young people, their families, and their school community to help manage emerging mild to moderate mental health difficulties. For further information about this service, please follow the above link and contact Nicola Ingham within school who will support with a referral.
